BURIAL Search : Pleasant Green Cemetery, Magna, Utah

I was asked today about a burial in the
Pleasant Green Cemetery
in Magna, Utah.

The only information known:

She was a young mother, believed to have the last name of Harding.
She had small children.
They recall trucks being left on the gravesite.
It was approximately 15 years ago.

I searched through most of the burial records and located, one name.
Not 15 years ago, but close at 13.
So I searched the archives until I came across her obiturary.

I feel very strongly this is the young mother he spoke of, so I am sharing her obiturary here:

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Nicole Magleby Newman returned to her Heavenly Father and the loving arms of her grandmother on March 2, 1998 from Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH). She fought a courageous battle for 2 1/2 years.

Born September 12, 1975 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Wayne Ross and Eloise Collings Magleby. Married Dennis Devar Newman on February 14, 1994. She loved being a mother and her pride and joy was their 3 year old son, Denver.

Nicole enjoyed participating in gymnastics. She attended Granger High School. She loved coloring and molding clay into what ever came to mind. She loved collecting mice and Minnie Mouse, and loved fishing. Nicole was well loved and will be missed by many wonderful people.

Survived by her husband, Dennis; son, Denver; parents, Wayne and Eloise Magleby; brothers and sisters, Dawn (Jed) Ogden, Jeff (Natalie) Magleby, Kevin Magleby, and Pam Magleby; brother-in-law, Eddie Bogue; mother-in-law, Diane Newman ; seven nieces and nephews; grandparents, Fred and Loa Jean Collings, Ruth Magleby, and Deloris Weeks; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by grandmother, Reve' Collings; grandfather, Arlo "Jim" Magleby; uncle, James Magleby; and cousin, Douglas Collings.

Special thanks to Dr. Elliott, Sandy, Natalie and their staff, and the staff at LDS Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 7, 1998 1 pm at the Taylorsville 24th Ward, 2976 W. 4270 South. Friends may call Friday 6-8 pm at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 South, Magna, and Saturday 12-12:45 pm at the church. Interment: Pleasant Green Cemetery.
